Christmas in Boston gives you the opportunity to visit homes decorated in a gorgeous and festive fashion for your pure visual enjoyment and perhaps to give ideas on how you can incorporate some of the ideas into your own holiday ornamentation.
Labouré Center Holiday House Tour
This will be the 24th Annual South Boston Christmas House Tour. Featured will be five homes beautifully decorated and highlighting the creative and exciting visions of local designers. This long-standing South Boston tradition is a charitable event with the proceeds going to support the numerous social services provided by Catholic Charities Labouré Center.
The tour will also give you the chance to do some Christmas shopping at the House Tour Christmas Sample Sale Shoppe.
Twilight Tour
Saturday, December 6th, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
$75 per ticket purchased by 12/01/14 — $80 per ticket after that date
This is a self-guided where you can walk or drive on your own, or parking and transportation is available at the Florian Hall. Right after the tour, complimentary food and drink, included in price of the ticket, will be available at Florian Hall.
Daytime Tour
Sunday, December 7th, noon to 4:00 p.m.
$25 per ticket if purchased in advance — $30 purchased on day of tour
This is also a self-guided tour; or transportation is available departing from Labouré Center at 275 West Broadway, with limited parking, or from Sullivan’s/Castle Island, where there is ample parking.
Boston-Edison Annual Holiday Home Tour
This is a celebration of 40 years of Holiday Home Tours. Five historic residences, magnificently decorated for the holidays, are open so that you can view the fine exterior and interior architecture of the early 1900’s “Golden Age”.
VIP Preview Gala
Saturday December 13, 2014
Dress up in your favorite semi-formal attire and attend this Gala featuring a spectacular host party house, live music, and complimentary gourmet delights. Motor coach shuttles will be available, or you may choose to tour the homes on your own and must have a special wristband to enter.
Annual Holiday Home Tour

This is a combination of minimal walking and a bus tour accompanied by a resident tour guide that lasts about two hours. Everyone receives a commemorative program with photographs and histories of the five homes. Complimentary refreshments are served afterwards. Self-guided tours of the neighborhood are also available.
