Tim Allen

Best known from his hit TV show Home Improvement and as Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story Tim Allen grew up right in Denver.  His love for the Mile High City shines bright even today on his current show on ABC Last Man Standing in which Tim’s character works at a store similar to Bass Pro Shop in North Denver.

Jessica Biel

The famous actress is best known for her work on the hit TV show, 7th Heaven, and a few movies like The Illusionist, Valentine’s Day, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.  Though she wasn’t born here in the Mile High City, Biel has been a long-time resident and is even a good sport when it comes to helping raise charity funds.  In 2007 Biel had lunch with John Schiffner after he successfully donated $30,000 to help cover medical costs for a Colorado teen injured in an accident.

Amy Adams

Was born in Vicenza, Veneto Italy but her family moved to the Denver area when she was a child.  Adams is best known for her work in Enchanted, The Fighter, and the recent Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, but if you were lucky, you may have caught her singing here in Colorado.  Adams went to Douglas County High School and sang in the choir and danced as a ballerina.

Duane “Dog” Chapman

Hailed by many as the best bounty hunter in the world, Duane Chapman is better known as Dog the Bounty Hunter.  He also starred in the A&E hit TV show by the same name, Dog the Bounty Hunter and the CMT hit TV program, Dog and Beth: On The Hunt.  Dog was born and grew up in Denver, Colorado but currently lives over in Hawaii.

David Fincher

If you love the movie Fight Club, then you have David Fincher to thank for that.  He was born right here in Denver but eventually found his way into Hollywood by working with John Korty at Korty Films at the young age of 18 years old.  After that, he found his way into Hollywood’s most prestigious special effects company Industrial Light and Magic (ILM).  But it wasn’t special effects that had captured David’s interest, it was directing.  David then left ILM to direct TV commercials and Music Videos, but that grew into directing movies like Se7en, and The Social Network.
