Due to illness I needed to sell my house. I was unable to do the repairs that would allow me to sell it through normal channels. The illness often left me weak, exhausted and not thinking very clearly. Jake [We Buy Ugly Houses franchisee] made me a good offer. He accepted my longish time requirement to accommodate my limitations/slowness in doing things. He helped me with some questions I had along the way. He let me leave some stuff on the porch because I hadn’t been able to get some of the packing done until the very last minute. Yesterday was the closing. The house is theirs and I’m taking care of my financial issues. I’ve downsized into an apartment. It wasn’t a train at the end of the tunnel and the future is full of hope.
