The latest rave to hit our society is dog-friendly restaurants. We love our dogs so much we can’t stand to eat without them. 

Since this is the new thing, there are 45 dog-friendly restaurants in the Twin Cities. By "dog friendly" that means they welcome dogs at their outdoor tables. Before we know it, dogs will be allowed in the building.

Until then, here are some popular dog-friendly restaurants in the Twin Cities you should look at if it interests you.

“Don’t let good taste (ruin) a perfect evening,” the site says. “Roll up to Nordeast and guzzle our original and potent rum concoctions while scarfing down scrumptious fare. Enjoy our large and splendorous patio.”

What makes this even better is the dog-friendly patio adds to the ambiance. Coupled with a great staff, wonderful drinks and good food.

For a restaurant open for all meals of the day, Wilde Roast Café is your place. The Wilde Roast Café is a neighborhood joint with an updated Victorian feel but it’s not your typical café.

“A comfortable place you can come alone or with friends to enjoy a latte or glass wine by our 1900s fireplace on a Chesterfield couch,” the site says.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus feature an array of sandwiches, pizzas, and a big dessert menu for the evening crowd. Of course, the patio is dog friendly when you sip on that latte or glass of wine.
